Snowy egrets are one of the most beautiful of the wading birds, with their snow white feathers, jet black bill and legs, and bright yellow feet. I was filming this one on Upham beach when it suddenly decided to leave the water and take a hike up on dry sand. Strange I thought...then I discovered why. Apparently birds like clean water too.
