First attempt at editing 5D Mark II footage. I shot this of my brother playing Xbox in his room @ like 2 in the morning. Obviously very dark environment and a lot of grain but it worked pretty well I think.
Music: Boards of Canada - Untitled (7th track off the Warp 10th anniversary set)
Lenses used:
17-40mm 4
50mm 1.4
70-200 2.8 IS
Workflow:
-Get clips off card
-Convert to prores 422 (FCP cannot handle my raw h264 files)
-Basic Edit
-Compress using FCP, 1280x720, 5220 kbps, 44.1 khz audio...
Things that need improvement are my compression as well as my general lighting technique, maybe a bit less grain, haha. Any suggestions are appreciated.

How big is a minute worth of footage on this camera?
I actually just read about the 5D Mark II a few weeks ago. That's pretty awesome you have it. I can't wait to see what you can do with this.
