Katharine’s forthcoming book, Top Down Transparency: How to Drive Down the Cost of
Chaos and Drive up Performance, Productivity, and Profits™ documents hundreds of success stories in organizations of all sizes.
Katharine Halpin is a pioneer in the executive coaching industry. She hosts the radio show Coach Conversations on BlogTalkRadio.com. In 1996, she co-founded the Arizona Chapter of the International Coach Federation, a global association that has grown to over 20,000 professional life and business coaches from over 108 countries. In 1998 the International Coach Federation certified Katharine as a Master Certified Coach. She served on the Global Board of the ICF from 1998-2000 with other coaching pioneers and continues to support the coaching community.
Motivated by her passion for the power of transparency, she has made landmark contributions to the field of integrative thinking. After 20 years as a practicing CPA in both industry and public accounting, Katharine switched to the “softer side” of business; addressing the people and the processes an organization uses to get results. She helps CEOs maximize the value of their intangible assets (their people and their corporate culture) to achieve tangible results on the bottom line. Her approach emphasizes continuous growth and improvement. She partners with CEOs to build strong connections between the people, the processes, and the purpose of the organization. Her clients see her as the facilitator for their strategic thinking processes.
Katharine has been speaking professionally since 1991 when she presented in-house training for her employer. She presents interactive keynotes at State and National Conferences to audiences of 30-200 people. She leads corporate seminars in her clients’ companies and conducts training that teaches people how to drive results by nurturing connections with people and building transparency at every level, in each interaction.
Since 1985, Katharine has served continuously as a member of various not-for-profit and professional association boards including the International Coach Federation (1998-2000), Arizona Society of CPAs (2000-2004), and Arizona Business Leadership, Inc. (2002-2005). She is currently a member of the International Coach Federation and the American Institute of CPAs. Katharine serves on the Board of the Greater Southwest Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and on the Advisory Board for Sojourner Center.
