Here's a re-rending of a video I recently did:

Hopefully I rendered this movie correctly this time.

Addition:
What I've discovered is this:
I render my video in Final Cut Pro (FCP). When I save it in 1280 x 720, there's a "letterbox" setting. Clicking this setting seems to squash the video a bit ( ... is 'squash' a proper term to describe video? ;-)
This weekend I'm going to post a new video I've created. I'll try and post two versions ... one letterboxed and one not.
