great , what setting and slider please

thanks Nasser, no slider used but good old panning in post. the fireworks were shot using a video camera. the time lapses on dslr, all manual, wide open, around 1-3s per shot, around 8-20s intervals

- Good Tripod
- Stop Watch?

- plenty of good locations in dense/high-rise Singapore :)
- DSLR does offer some optios a video cam doesn't have
- yes a good tripod is always a worthy investment
- stop watch not required, actually
- coffee, good company, or just sheer patience

thanks Chuck -- the fireworks were shot overcrank, but to match the music, they were sped up in post. didn't shoot the fireworks for two reasons: one, i was shooting stills of the fireworks using the dslr; and two, my d700 can't take videos :)
