In April 2008, Dr. Robert Coles gave the Lowell Lecture at Harvard University. Here, he talks about his encounters with children; how they think about spiritual and political matters; and recalls how he met and counseled Ruby Bridges, who often prayed for protestors who blocked her path to school.
