I too enjoy grabbing socks with 90% certainty. I prefer white Hanes socks with gray toes and a red "Hanes" embroidered on the tip.

But, once I bought a package of the Hanes socks and the tips say "Hanes Dry" which has left me wondering from time to time what is so different about the "dry" as opposed to the "not dry."

Mixing the two does not yield a sweaty foot vs. non-sweaty foot at the end of the day.

I continue to be vexed.
