Using the Kinect to interact with a high-resolution fire simulator. The fire is simulated on the GPU and the simulator uses the newest algorithms to get best speed and quality. It also uses a custom optical flow shader to see how the depth map is evolving over time and uses that to apply forces to the simulator.

This video is captured in real-time and is almost twice as fast without the video capture. Specs of the computer are 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo, GTX 480.
