A year in the life of a miniature horse gelding.

Pumpkin is a 5 year old red sabino pinto miniature horse gelding who was purchased in August of 2007 from a Mennonite farmer who had taken him as a trade from an Amish farmer. He had been very sick and lost quite a bit of weight. We were not looking for another mini but once we saw him, we wanted to help him so we consider him a rescue.

Pumpkin now lives with a family that has small children to love him and will be a leadline pony.
