Opening with a zoom into Dali's moustached version of giocconda, the film dreamily works like a silent movie with editing accompanying the music from the area. From a night scene in kelety station in Budapest, the train is bound for the mystical land of Dacia, the travel goes through Bucharest and then into the countryside through Brasov, Sighisoara, and up into the Cluj and Maramures counties, showing through short shots and black and white photographs of different characters and locations, this culminates in a party of local hunters who catch and carve a female boar, and drink beer, after which the camera follows some children on a funcolaire ride down into the valley from the donkey land of the zenith of the carpathian mountains
