Patrick Quinlan is an entrepreneur known for his successful startup development and funding strategies. As the CEO of Rivet Software, he has developed Rivet into a pioneer in the financial reporting industry. His unique ability to find innovative ways to solve problems has led Rivet to develop products even the SEC has recognized are key in filing accurate financial reports. Quinlan’s ability to build and manage effective sales teams, meet revenue goals and achieve peak performance has been the driving force behind Rivet’s success.
Prior to joining Rivet, Quinlan was the CEO of two other successful companies where he became skilled at executing strategic planning, performing market analysis and guiding new product development. His leadership led to the quadrupling of company revenues and employees. Quinlan has also served as a consultant for emerging growth companies where he assisted CTOs, CFOs, and CEOs with funding strategies as well as sales and revenue development.
Clients and friends are intrigued by Quinlan’s incredible energy and drive to get things done. He is always thinking of what could be, and then quickly finds the right people to make his vision a reality. These days, in addition to working with startup companies, he dedicates much of his time to community-based projects such as the Hugh O'Brian Youth fellowship program (HOBY), which creates motivation-building experiences for youths.
Currently, Quinlan serves on the Board of Directors of Flobots.org, a non-profit that provides artistic tools to young people so they can use art to make a difference in their communities. In March 2010, the Denver Business Journal recognized Quinlan as one of Denver’s “Forty Under 40.” He served as a US Army Infantryman in Desert Storm, is a graduate from the University of Kansas and holds an MBA from Regis University.
