some very weird artifacts..going on on this upload...
mind you this was also cut from a dvd..
telecined normal def on an old rank cintel mk3 machine.
this was filmed in a 2 hour evening session in Studio 2 at abbey rd...
which was the beatles main studio location.

the music was recorded on vintage era equipment..
and the rough pictures were shot on the home movie format super 8 film. kodak 500asa.
with a tiny bit of b&w video..

thank you sir..clearly a man of great taste..but looking at the lack of feedback alas i think you are in the minority.
i have been shooting s8 longer than most and i am pretty good.

Alan, an odd question perhaps, but were you selling the camera you shot this with on ebay a month or so ago? Great video by the way. It looks stunning. I'm with Dolo.

    ta..
what i really love about this clip was it was done in an hour.
james laid the track down twice, because the cameras were very noisy. he then mimed the rest.
he was late for some award event.
as it goes on the filming becomes more frantic and little chaotic. this was because we had run out of time.
and a desperate footage angle hoovering operation, kicked in.
the last take i was filming with a black and white video camera and super 8 camera together.
i am sure the record company people were a little worried as i was not looking through the viewfinder.

I like it a lot...just goes to show what can be achieved with super 8 stock in the right hands....nice work mate :)
Can I ask where you had it telecined and a clue as to price...how many carts of film did you use ?
Sorry for all the questions...but I am genuinely curious...cos its such a cool film.
    Thanks
