Analog Execution

mike and i were sitting around listening to our friend rjyan kidwell's music and we decided to pop in The Garbage Pail Kids Movie. the music made the scene take on a different feel and Mike paused the movie where he felt appropriate. i tried my best to hold the camera still.

after we made this we came up with an idea called Analog Execution where we revisit the way we used to make videos, relying less on computer skills and more on what you can improvise and make-do in the moment. music or sound can come from the room where the imagery is happening. editing can be planned ahead or done in-camera. it seems like many of us are getting away from the serendipity and magic we used to be able to capture in those moments. Analog Execution is about getting those goose bumps back.
