Tim Johnson and Ted King brought a local amateur, Ryan Kelly, along for a 200 mile ride, and this is what happened.

I saw a tweet. Something about Ryan melting down. So true. Fun to watch. I can almost feel his pain. My longest was 160 miles from Albany NY to Worcester MA. I was feeling good when I finished. I suspect I was riding a bit slower with a few less hills.

I've watched this a couple of times now. Awesome. :) Question though: What is the music?

Haha. Love this! I'm ridding 255 miles from Connecticut to Maine this fall for a personal fundraiser so this couldn't have come at a better time. It'll keep me motivated to get my training in because I'd hate to look & feel like Ryan when I cross the finish line!

By my math DK, you should do it in 10 hours and change. Umm... yup, that's about right.

HA! Challenge accepted... NOT! I just looked over your ride data on Strava. I'll be happy to average 17-18mph. Comparing your data to my route map, overall elevation gain is about the same. The last 135 miles for me look flat which I'm not used to so I might just surprise myself. ridewithgps.com/routes/585012

The slow mental and physical destruction of epic rides. Nice capture of the event!

"Ah, chocolate milk" is stuck in my head now.
