While in Rome, we would occassionally hit up Piazza di Spagna to grab some gelato, maybe a beer, and just relax on the Scalinata della Trinita dei Monti (the infamous Spanish Steps). On this particular day, they were preparing for a fashion show in the piazza and while we were there, a gentleman played the piano while some opera singers prepared for the evening's show. We sat there for almost an hour hearing them warm up. Quite an experience!
