James Wisdom is a past Co-Chair of the Staff and Educational Development Association and the Editor for the SEDA Series published through Routledge. He gave evidence on SEDA’s behalf to the recent Select Committee’s Students and Universities enquiry. He is a higher education consultant, specialising in educational development and evaluation, a Visiting Professor of Educational Development at Middlesex University and a Governor of a Further Education college. He has held educational development posts at Kingston University and London Guildhall University, where he was Head of Educational and Staff Development. He recently co-authored Developing Creativity in Higher Education: An imaginative curriculum. He has worked extensively in the areas of student consultation and feedback for course improvement, and the evaluation of educational projects. He often contributes to programmes for the professional development of academic staff.
