We're finally ready to beta test Channels.

Unfortunately, most people can't use Channels -- we picked a few dozen for this initial beta, and will open it up to the public once the bugs are worked out, in a few weeks.

So consider this a sneak preview!

I'm excited for sure. Do you think that the channel url being vimeo.com/xxxxxx is a smart move since users are also set up that way? Just my 2 cents but seems like it should be vimeo.com/channels/xxxxx as to avoid confusion.

Looks cool! I love that you can upload other types of files such as music, photos, and even my Finance paper. It will allow users to express themselves in other ways besides videos and emphasizes the ME in viMEo.

Channels are going to be so cool, because no projects between a few people can be in one place.

Videos placed in a channel by a moderator, do they have to be the moderators or can he add some clips that his friends made but he doesn't want them to be moderators?
