Using the Kineme Audio plugins to process and display sound. I originally generated the image by having the 'arm' sweep radar-like around the screen, but in the end I found it was much easier to use pbmesh ( paulbourke.net/miscellaneous/domemirror/warppatch/ ) to polarize a square image into a circle instead.
I've started using frames instead of qc's default timebase; it makes working with compositions (and compiling stacks of images afterward for the creation of an animation) much, much easier.
