so today we had our complete physical exam exam (basically we get a fake case and then we have to do a physical exam on a partner according to the case and a PA sits with a long fucking list of things to check off that we would normally just silently do to a patient but for this we have to verbalize EVERY thing we are looking for...from hemorrhages in the eye seen thru the pupil on a fundoscopic exam all the way to clubbing of the finger tips. had to study every possible clinical finding for every possible illness in preparation for this. SO we all get there, ready to do the exam of the exam and one of the PAs got caught up in surgery somewhere. as a result we waited FOREVER. eventually we started doing back bends and made jon crawl under them. hahaha. members of the PA-S bridge : Cindy, Carin, Jeff, Myself.
