We of You Look Nice Today ("the Talent") were invited, nay, commissioned to make a thing for a thing - bit.ly/momedy - to be screened at a big fancy place in New York with a lot of fancy people and some interesting paintings. Okay, it was the MoMA. Perhaps you've heard of it.

Words fail me... You guys are the reason I no longer need to make stuff. Just knowing you're out there, making things like this, alleviates me from the searing pain of creative work. My prostate thanks you.

Like the creative bar wasn't already high enough for the rest of us, you had to go and jack it up another foot.

These guys... You chew balsa wood for the celery sound. You break a carrot to recreate a car door slamming and empty a full water ballon to simulate a baby crying.

They're breaking with convention. I'm applauding them with one hand, clapping.

Im sure this is a stupid question, but what did you use for the film aging? Magic Bullet?
  • lonelysandwich 3 years ago
Adam, the only stupid question is the one you ask in a stupid voice with a dumb hat.

The answer: a free Final Cut plugin from FXScript called "f CGM Film LE". It's very nice.
