Eric Ellingsen, SPECIES OF SPACE, twists one of three architecture models at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris for the performance/exhibition REBOOT 4. One model, not shown, was twisted during the event which was coupled to a talk on self-organization and modeling.

40m, 6mm nylon rope in constrained at two ends. Lines of growth are directed interior to the rope as it is shaped to self-organize in certain directions.
