BELOW ABOVE is a short film by eric ellingsen, starring Berlin and AGI (above ground infrastructure). It is a love story, thus, a tragedy. Starting at the same time, two people carrying mirrors walk from opposite ends of a pink water pipe that starts at a construction site and ends at a river, twisting 2.5km above ground. What usually takes place between walls and in the porous hollows under the surface is played out in public space. Along the way the two people play the infrastructure, causing them to fall in love with the pipe, and fall in love with the city, and fall in love with the playing. They have pipe dreams. They pass each other by.
