Watch highlights from the St. George Waterfront Festival, which was held Saturday, August 6th, on the esplanade next to the ferry terminal.

Staten Islanders and visitors of all ages delighted in free outdoor fun, including musical performances, a local artist’s showcase, and activities for the whole family. A variety of Macy’s Parade Balloons were on display, and representatives from many of our Island’s cultural attractions were on hand to provide information about our Borough’s unique cultural and historic places and exhibits.

Festival-goers enjoyed shopping along the esplanade and sampling the many ethnically diverse foods available from vendors, while the Borough’s first-ever pizza eating contest proved to be a spectator favorite.
