Design for Dreaming: Salvation
evanoah sea invited me to participate in the latest clipdub challenge using footage from an old 1956 GM promotional film titled "Design for Dreaming."
After watching the film I knew immediately that the ABBA song "Money, Money, Money" would be perfect for the soundtrack. I laid the audio down, started some editing, and it was coming along pretty darn good.
But then.
Somewhere along the way I decided to scrap the song, start over, and go with something a little more... well... unexpected.

I'm glad I scrapped ABBA too.
you had some luck, I read the words ABBA and Money -
I just decided to click further when I read "scrap the song". That was some kind of artful ;-) I nearly missed this VERY NICE ONE of the project.
Thanks for watching. :-)

Brit-Brit 4evaH!
Inspiration for me to do another...is that allowed...hee!
Awesome!
Thanks, Brian. You should try your hand at a clipdub. Fun stuff!
God bless you for making it and not using ABBA.
It reminded me of the suspense in The Dark Knight trailers, very well done.
Oh and you have no idea how much ABBA haters there are..never understood why the Mamma Mia movie is so popular..
I just like 'Dancing Queen' and that's all..
This short video demonstrates just how powerful, short punchy effects and visuals can be.
I am just starting to break into this territory....it's a real blast. TRANSITION below:
