This is the Pilchuck river, located north of Lake Stevens, WA. Normally at this part of the river, the width is around 35 feet. It now looks at least twice that.
While I was there, I saw an entire tree, roots and all, flooting down river. The normal depth at this part is "normally" around 1 to 1.5 feet. (A few other parts get a little deeper.)
It's pretty amazing, the power of water. I feel bad for those who are flooding out of their homes. (Notice the home in this video that has all the water running on the front lawn. He remodeled his home 2 years ago!)
The Snohomish river got really bad too. (See: vimeo.com/2774563)
