Nicole Chowanetz believes in giving children the quality care and literacy skills they need to succeed. Thanks to the Bowness/Montgomery Early Literacy Scholarship Project and United Way of Calgary and Area, Nicole was able to go back to school and graduate with an Early Childhood Education diploma. This is her story of how she gained confidence in her skills and is allowing change to happen in her community.
