Time in One Sitting -
"As he wishes for productivity and meaning, his outlook and introspection can sometimes become less pleasurable and more disoriented. Time discombobulates and all he wants is a break from the animals of his mind, but the sweet sanctuary which exists away from the noise can also be ripped away. "
Yeah, well.. this was an ambitious effort. I wanted to convey the fleeting effect of procrastination. His “drive” is a symbolic break from life, and when he wakes up, the film cuts to a scene later in his life (his facial hair changes). The dialogue is not anywhere near powerful, and the audience becomes aligned with the image of the man, rather than the character. This dehumanized figure is appropriate since the film did use the man as a pawn, but I want to delve into more gripping cinema, with actual human interaction.
