Joint Aid Management (JAM) is a South African founded registered non-profit humanitarian organisation that has been expanding its expertise in relief and sustainable development in Africa since 1984.
Its programmes, which are based on a Complete Community Development Assistance (CCDA) model, include nutritional interventions, school feeding, assistance to orphans and vulnerable children, the provision of water and sanitation, skills development, community training on agricultural development, income generation and HIV/AIDS projects.
The “Help JAM Make it Real Campaign” shows the positive results of JAM’s programmes, but highlights how, without you, the donor, the positive results are merely make believe. It is YOU that can help JAM Make It Real. You are the fundamental tool in helping children and communities in our beneficiary countries (South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, South Sudan and Rwanda) create a better life for themselves.
JAM provides clean water pumps to schools and communities enabling them to drink without risk of disease and to prepare safe meals. Understanding the value of clean water and the reasons for creating a more hygienic environment is another area in which JAM raises awareness within communities and schools.
