    Very cool!

    One thing though... while watching this... i was hoping the long ponytail would be used as a Whip to attack... as well as to Block attacks. :)

    I don't think that's a pony tail. It's just a trail of motion/essence. If you notice, objects the character picks up get their own trail. I imagine it was a design decision to help the user better judge the character's movement among other shadowy objects like trees. It also looks pretty, but I don't think it's supposed to be something with mass.
