This is part of a post production assignment I completed in early 2010 whilst studying Music Technology at the London College of Music.

The full clip was around 10 minutes long, all the audio was removed and replaced with original content sourced from around the home, two industrial warehouses, an airport and my local area. I used Pro tools, Final Cut Pro, and Logic Pro as my DAW's. The soundtrack is by Thomas Newman.

It took around two weeks to collate all the sounds, isolate and save them into a sound library, sequence and finally mix. The voices are performed by myself and Catherine Friend.
As for equipment used, I think the mics were a 414, U87, and rhodes shotgun for the ADR. A Tascam portable DAT recorder with in-built limiter was used out in the field.

Ben Burt and Walter Murch were very influential to this project,

hope you like it,

Sam.
