Each year, at or around Christmas, the Audubon Society performs a counting of birds with the assistance of volunteers all over America. The Big Country Audubon Society participates in the counting and covers most of Taylor County for the count.

I shot this video for the Abilene Reporter News video website. The shoot was one of my favorites because I enjoy being outdoors, I like birds and it was a particularly nice January day.

The story was shot with a Canon XH-A1 and edited in Final Cut Express. I attempted to color correct one part of the video because the original video was washed out, a product of having to use the LCD screen while I followed some of the counters around and not being able to monitor the quality of the video through that screen.
