Aging in mammals is a process that begins early in adult life. It manifests as a decline in functional capacity over time, leading to increasing risk of morbidity and mortality. Chris Heward, President of Kronos Science Laboratory, presented on strategies aimed at intervening in the aging process at the 2007 Foresight Vision Weekend.
