Every few years the vole population crashes in the far north, and large numbers of Great Gray Owls appear farther south in search of food.

These images are from the last major incursion into southern Ontario in the winter of 2004-05.

    that was stunning work, also your timelapse of toronto is helping me get through my masters degree in visual effects, so thanks for posting it up. I'm doing research on HDR video but timelapse photography seems to be the only thing so far.
