what amazes me is how you maintain a constant level of light with each shot? Also, I feel that this video could be played back on a constant loop - the morphs work so well :)

I've done quite a bit of experiments and found that the HDR effect was perfect for making a more or less constant level of light. Because HDR flattens everything by maximising the dynamic level.

thanks, I never even thought about using HDR in this way - much appreciated!

    Interesting. Good work.
Great to see the changes and the consistency in your shooting. I actually wanted to do something similar for my film but could not film the same spot in a year. Looking forward to reading how this was done.

Hi Eirik. I remember you mentioned this movie project when you gave your presentation for a work group at The Norwegian Computer Society about blogging. It was long time ago and you was a pioneer in blogging in Norway.
I found this site and vid again, as it was Stumbeled of a friend of mine; TyroPearl and I'm still amazed by your work. It's also a great proof of the significant four season in Norway :-)
I've learn a lot from you and still look at you as a pioner. Keep up the good work - see you soon again I hope.

    Amazing!

    Question:
Why do the branches of the trees in your country not bend down when they carry a layer of snow?
Caued by the aligning with PhotoShop ?
  • Eirik Solheim plus 3 months ago
The layer of snow in these images is not very heavy. And I guess the photoshop alignment moves them a bit as well.
