WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
CALL TO WORSHIP
(Congregation reads indented lines.)
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for God’s steadfast love endures forever.
The Lord is our strength and our might,
God has become our salvation.
Our soul waits for the Lord;
God is our help and shield.
We give thanks for Camp Knutson,
for campers, counselors, staff, volunteers, and donors.
We rejoice when kindness is abundantly shared:
demonstrating that all people are precious.
At Camp Knutson, participants are built up:
frowns become smiles and fears become laughter;
God’s grace is shared:
for God’s very nature is love.
Confession and Forgiveness
O God, forgive us when take your love for granted.
Have mercy on us. In your compassion forgive us our sins, known and unknown, things done and left undone. Uphold us by your spirit so that we may live and serve you in newness of life, to the honor and glory of your holy name; through Jesus our Lord. The almighty and merciful Lord grant us pardon, forgiveness, and remission of all our sins. Amen! Thanks be to God!
