A House Where You Grew Up (19 min, 2011) directed and photographed by Ted Rogers in his hometown of New Milford, Connecticut. The film is constructed by the small, clumsy moments experienced by a 21-year-old student (Maddalena) returning to his childhood home, trying to figure out his relationship to his old friends and the stark rural landscape.

"Allowing personal narratives to shape the creative process, these filmmakers achieve a style of transparent storytelling that playfully obscures the divide between fiction and nonfiction." -Harvard Film Archive
