Four bands, one trophy, the battle of the year.

Check out this quick look into the battle that took place at the Great American Music Hall on August 10th. Each year, SF Big gathers its biggest and baddest bands to battle to the death. And by death I mean sing covers to everyone's favorite songs.

One part industry night, many parts talent, and the rest spun around with liquid happy; this is is SF Big's Battle of the Bands.

Shot with a 5D / 28mm 2.8 Vivitar with glass adapter (super soft wide open) and a 60D / 50mm 1.8 Zeiss. LCDVF used on the 60D. Wide open most of the night, it was tough to keep the wide shots in focus. Especially since I had no loupe on the 5D. My first concert shoot, brutal and a LOT of fun.
