Sam & the Elephant was a short film completed for an online video contest in the fall of 2007. Written and directed by Joey DiFranco, the film tells the tale of Sam and his quest to take a picture of his favorite animals. The film stars Sam Provenza and Maggie Krohn.
The film took first place in the November 2007 contest on "whowantstobeatvproducer.com" and was voted best short of the year by the same site.
