So it's helmet mounted, and I'm guessing that it's the GoPro Ride Hero, based on the shadow, no?

Nice use of low, winter light. The same ride at high noon in the middle of summer would be much less interesting.

Is that the Northbank of the James River in Richmond? I caught a glimpse of a skyline, but I wasn't sure.

Yep that is Northbank in Richmond. We did an out and back ride on Northbank cus Buttermilk was pretty muddy this day. it is a helmet mount Go Pro Hero wide, this was my first ride with it. I liked the low winter light but it did make it a bit hard to make out the trail features. I filmed with it the other day at Gatewood Trails on an overcast day and it is much easier to see the trail.
