UPDATE: 9/11/09 Newly revised version now available.
I shot this short two and a half minute video for the shakealeg.org website. This was a side project to the major documentary I shot with the Adaptive Sailing Program during the summer of 2008. You can see that doc in my other videos here on Vimeo.
I shot this almost entirely with the Sony PMW-EX1 with the Letus Extreme. I mostly used a Nikon 24mm f2.8 and a Nikon 200mm f3.5 telephoto as my prime lenses. A few of the shots where from my Sony HVR-Z1U and the still images were shot by Meghan Sepe for promotions.
I did not color grade at all. What you see is straight out of the EX1. The only thing I did was setup a picture profile in camera and upped the hiSAT (saturation) to +50.
Audio was captured with two Senheisser evolution 100 series wireless with Sony ECM-77b mics.
I shot some of this handheld without any sort of shoulder mount. The EX1 with the Letus Extreme and rod system is hard to handle. I'm eventually going to have to buy something from Zacuto...
I voiced this over to keep costs down.
