Mercer Island Library Early Learning Garden: An unused outdoor space next to a public library is transformed into a Learning Garden that inspires discovery and curiosity, uses sustainable materials and connects the library to surrounding spaces. Four days of work, a blend of different building materials and a lot of sweat equity turned this unused space into a unique space of discovery for children and parents.
