This is my elation after my first HF CW QSO on 40m.

My first QSO was similar, but my mother, KB0LOK came in and helped me. It was in 1994 from Manchester, IA. A Kenwood TS130 into a random long wire. Only the key was homebrewed. A straight key. I freaked out and said, "Mom, take it. Grab it!?" and she finished it out.

We care about all of the connections, by the way. Go into detail. Radio nerds have an intense interest in that stuff. Great work, man.
