This is some of the tracking for my forthcoming collaboration with MoTa on the project Dark Star in Ljublijana.
I'm using OpenFrameworks, Kinect and OpenNI. The program allows for many users with no need for calibration poses or skeletal tracking.
Thanks to a little math coaching from my friend Pete, all the orientation and point detection works properly now. The large rectangle outside the frame represents the projector screen.
Ultimately the audience will be pointing at and manipulating projected stars. Prototype premier in Berlin in just a few weeks ...Yikes !
