The Knights of Columbus are a Catholic men’s Fraternal Benefit Society that was formed in 1881 to render financial aid to members and their families. Today there are over 12,000 councils in North America, and the membership is over 1.8 million men.

In Wimberley, Council #9151 currently funds THIRTEEN four year, $6,000 college scholarships. Additionally we sponsor a Cub Scout Troop, a Youth Soccer Team, and host a Youth Basketball Free-Throw Contest. We contribute working capital to Habitat for Humanity, Crisis Bread Basket, Meals on Wheels, Hospice, Wounded Warriors, and St. Mary’s Religious Education Building Program.

The Central Texas Columbus Club, of which the Wimberley Knights of Columbus #9151 is part, is a 501(c)(3) organization.
