I have now uploaded the original file of almost 3GB, thus replacing the version of only half a GB to provide for a video image that is not as "blurry". I have not trimmed the video in order to not do an injustice to this most extraordinary and blissful day)

Stastistically, there is only one day in all of July with sunshine on the whole of Iceland, and I was happy to still be there on July 19, when it happened, instead of staying for only one week. My homebound plane was to leave early next morning, and my cell phone's battery was almost dead, so unfortunately, I had to refrain from drifting away to the east over Mosfellsheidi. As it were, I bottomlanded after 3 hours' soaring in strong wind and turbulence.
The video quality of the file uploaded to Vimeo is VERY low, due to heavy compresson, so i advise anyone REALLY interested in viewing the scenery more in detail to NOT to bother downloading that one, but to choose instead the original video from this server: tivoli.mine.nu/peterl/
