For the launch of Internet Explorer 9, we gave everyone a battlefield where they could destroy what they hated most about older versions: waiting time, privacy invasion and a cluttered interface.

The Battle for Beauty was an interactive multiplayer game that simultaneously pitted online players against real-world combatants. On June 10 and 11 we hosted a live event in Toronto where the game was projected on a huge screen. Participants threw balls at the ugly critters to destroy them and help make the web more beautiful.
