For some reason it didn't record any sound, which makes me sad because it sounded amazing (and there was a weather report on the radio talking about it).

Kinda late catching this or even mentioning it but... the framerate looks like it isn't the normal 24fps or 30fps and looks either 48fps or 60fps in which case the HVX200 doesn't record sound in those modes. just a guess.
