In 2008 my girlfriend and I went to Japan to do a small round trip. We spent 19 days in total in Japan. Our mission was to travel with a tight budget. We planned our trip ahead and booked all hostels and cheap business hotels ahead.

We started our trip in Tokyo where after we visited Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Kanazawa, Shirakawa-go and Takayama.

This video contains our departure from Amsterdam Schiphol airport, our stopover in Hong Kong, arrival at Narita airport and journey to our first business hotel in Hatagaya, Tokyo. The hotel is called Sakura Hotel Hatagaya and was quite decent and affordable. This all happens within 2 days.
