This is an old switchback grade climbing out of the valley near Lewiston, Idaho. It's no longer used in the interstate system but the department of highways keeps it in pristine condition... which attracts motorcycle riders from across the country.
We hadn't planned for a ride on this road, but a screw in our friend's tire sent us on a detour to Lewiston so it was the perfect opportunity to try it.
It's only 8 miles or so but it's like riding a rollercoaster.
