A chaotic look at the juicing of carrots.
  • MariaNYC plus 3 years ago
you know after watching Doctrine of Vitality and this- all in the course of 24 hours-- I am suddenly craving carrots - like I MUST have carrot juice ASAP and I have no juicer - gahhhhhh...... lololo you are driving me nuts with these fabulous stop motions. The energy here is sooo intense it created a ferocious thirst... me want MORE! ahahahah
  • MariaNYC plus 3 years ago
    Must watch again ;-)
  • Paul Whittington 3 years ago
No juicer in the house - oh no, that's terrible! If it were up to me I would make it mandatory that all housing have juicers installed, that way no one will have to suffer without the greatness of freshly juiced carrots, lol. Thanks Maria - glad you enjoyed it!

  • southernbachelor 3 years ago
very creative use of carrots. how did you get them to stay standing up?
  • Paul Whittington 3 years ago
Thanks - for the carrots standing up, I used a long strip of wood with nails pointing up to stick the carrots into.

Everythings in life, has its own life.
They give their life to give us life. Amazing love. That amazing love you brought in to our lifes by sharing your creative work.
To share the wisdom once again.
To remind us to be thankful to that unconditional love, they're giving us their life so we can survive.
You see things with your opened mind.
Magic we call it. Or like Dan above mentioned as "Genius!".
Ummmm. Now I can drink my carrot juice with much more appreciations.

  • adrian griffiths 3 years ago
wow, this is amazing, watched all your vids now :(
i need more, what kind of style would you call this?
your skilled man, and with a great imagination :D
what was the idea? u eat them, the waste becomes new carrots to chop up and drink again? circle of life kind of thing? or do you just enjoy butchering carrots xD althothey do make good juice:P
    truely awesome
  • Paul Whittington 2 years ago
Thanks Adrian - glad you enjoyed it! For style/genre, not really sure - experimental I guess - and the meaning is vague too, for these types of films I seem to center more around objects, situations, or events and then the meanings come later and can be different for each person - circle of life sounds great!

    Thanks

omg!_stop motion (or slow motion)! was that made by taking a photographs? never knew how to do it :o
  • Paul Whittington 2 years ago
Hi Solveiga - yes this was done using stop-motion and pixilation.
  •
  • Solveiga Serova 2 years ago
i know nothing yet about pixilation or stop-motion, so can i please you to explain the difference? i you can :P
  • Paul Whittington 2 years ago
For sure - pixilation is the same as stop-motion except you animate things that don't need animating like people/animals.
  •
  • Solveiga Serova 2 years ago
oh, so pixilation is for moving things right? :o
  • Paul Whittington 2 years ago
Yes, that's right - moving living things. Canadian film 'Neighbours' is one of the best examples of pixilation:
